No. Your mystery fruit are loquats, I think. Are they yours? C will be jealous.
Ahhh.. very good. They are actually called "Nisperas" here and they have a very short season as well. They are only in season a couple weeks. I found them at the farmers market. Last week I did see some "kumquats" which I was familiar with. I still have no idea what your mystery fruit is.
